Oiiku has a powerful search engine. The search engine are accessing all the attendee fields regardless of which columns you have selected in your view.

The search for alex is matching with both first name and mail

Exact match

You can use " " to search for an exact match

The search for alex@ava.io are matching every attendee with an email ending with ava.io
Searching for "alex@ava.io" are only matching one attendee with the exact value

Wild cards

If you use * in the beginning or in the end of a word, you will search for a word starting or ending with what you entered.

I.e ale* will return Alex, Alexander, Aleksander, Aleks etc.
